Valet parking and shuttle parking at Munich Airport

Besides the airport's own car parks, large airports usually have two types of parking services from private providers. This is how they differ:

Valet parking

You drive to an agreed meeting point at the airport and hand over your vehicle and keys to one of the provider's drivers. The driver parks the car on the provider's site and brings it back to you after landing. Advantage: short distances with luggage. Important: the handover location and procedure are stated in the booking confirmation of the respective provider.

Shuttle parking

You park your car yourself at the provider's car park near the airport and take the provider's shuttle to the terminal; the return works the same way. Advantage: usually cheaper than valet parking. Important: factor the transfer time between car park and terminal into your schedule.
