Terms and Conditions (T&C)
Last updated: 18 October 2026 | Altora Technologies UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
§ 1 Scope
All offers and services of Altora Technologies UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Jägerhofstr. 50, 40880 Ratingen (hereinafter "Friend-Park") are provided exclusively on the basis of these Terms and Conditions. They apply to both consumers (§ 13 BGB) and entrepreneurs (§ 14 BGB). Deviating terms of the customer do not apply unless Friend-Park has expressly agreed to them in writing. These Terms and Conditions govern exclusively the relationship between the customer and Friend-Park regarding the arrangement of parking and additional services and the use of the platform. The customer's contracting party for the arranged parking, shuttle or valet service is exclusively the respective parking provider; that provider's own terms and conditions apply in addition and are made available to the customer before the booking is completed.
§ 2 Scope of Services / Platform
Friend-Park operates an online platform through which customers can search for, compare and book parking spaces as well as additional services near airports in Germany. Services offered may include: parking (covered or outdoor), shuttle service to/from the airport, valet parking, vehicle cleaning and care packages (subject to availability by the respective parking operator).
The customer's contracting party for the actual parking, shuttle or valet service is always the respective parking provider, who works with Friend-Park as a B2B partner. Friend-Park itself does not operate any parking areas and is not a party to this service contract, but merely mediates it. Availability, parking areas, additional services and prices are determined independently by the respective parking provider via their company account on the platform; Friend-Park has no influence over this.
The display of services on the platform does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to submit a booking request. Friend-Park does not guarantee the continuous technical availability of the platform.
§ 3 Registration and User Account
A user account may be required or beneficial for certain features of the platform. The customer undertakes to provide complete and truthful information during registration and to update it promptly upon any changes. Login credentials must be kept confidential. Friend-Park must be notified immediately if there are indications of unauthorized use. Friend-Park is entitled to block accounts if there are concrete indications of misuse, false information or violations of these T&C.
§ 4 Booking and Contract
By submitting the online booking form, the customer submits a binding offer to conclude a contract. The contract for the parking, shuttle or valet service is concluded, upon receipt of the booking confirmation, between the customer and the respective parking provider; Friend-Park sends the booking confirmation on behalf of and for the account of the parking provider. Friend-Park is entitled to reject booking requests within a reasonable period, in which case the customer will be informed promptly. The content of the contract is determined by the details contained in the booking confirmation.
§ 5 Services of the parking provider
The content and performance of the parking, shuttle, valet and additional services – in particular the parking space, vehicle handover and return, conduct on the premises, additional charges for extended parking and the consequences of not using the full booked parking period – are governed exclusively by the booking and the terms and conditions of the respective parking provider. These can be accessed before completing the booking via the link to the provider’s terms shown in the booking form. Friend-Park is not a party to that contract and does not set these terms.
§ 6 Information provided by the customer
When booking, the customer provides accurate information, in particular on the vehicle, licence plate and flight and travel times. Friend-Park passes on the information required for performance to the parking provider. The customer communicates changes in good time via the customer account, the booking link or customer service.
§ 7 Shuttle and valet service
Whether and how shuttle or valet services are provided (e.g. meeting points, notification after landing, luggage, child seats) is set out in the offer description, the booking confirmation and the parking provider’s terms.
§ 8 Additional services
Additional services (e.g. vehicle cleaning, refuelling, charging) are provided by the parking provider or a third party commissioned by it in accordance with the offer description and its terms.
§ 9 Prices and Payment
All prices shown are final prices in euros. Prices for parking and additional services are set by the respective parking provider; parking fees are calculated according to the number of calendar days booked. Payment is made online when the booking is completed via the payment service provider Stripe; if a provider exceptionally offers payment on site, this is shown during the booking process. For online payments, Friend-Park receives the amount for the parking and additional services in the name and for the account of the parking provider and settles it with the provider less the brokerage commission agreed with the provider. For online payment, Friend-Park may charge its own service fee; it is due to Friend-Park and is shown as a separate item before payment is completed. The customer may only set off claims that are undisputed or have been finally established by a court, as well as claims arising from the same contractual relationship. Statutory rights of retention remain unaffected.
§ 10 Cancellation
(1) The customer may cancel the booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed vehicle handover (local time at the airport) via the customer account, the booking link or customer service; amounts already paid, including the service fee, are then refunded in full. (2) Later cancellation is not possible via the platform. Later cancellations and no-shows are governed by the terms of the respective parking provider; the customer may contact customer service in this regard. (3) If the parking provider cancels the service or the booking does not materialise for reasons for which the customer is not responsible, all amounts paid, including the service fee, are refunded. (4) Each booking is subject to the cancellation conditions displayed when it was concluded. The customer’s statutory rights remain unaffected.
§ 11 Right of Withdrawal
Whether the customer, as a consumer, has a statutory right of withdrawal is determined by the statutory provisions; further information is provided in the withdrawal information. The contractual right of cancellation under § 10 exists independently of this.
§ 12 Liability
Friend-Park is liable exclusively for breaches of duty within the scope of its own mediation activity, in particular for errors in booking and payment processing via the platform. The respective parking provider is solely liable for the actual parking, shuttle or valet service, as well as for damage, loss or theft of the vehicle or items left in it; if the provider fails to perform the promised service, does not perform it on time, or does not perform it as agreed, Friend-Park is not responsible and is not liable to the customer for this. In all other respects, Friend-Park is liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and culpable injury to life, body or health. For simple negligence, Friend-Park is only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) arising from the mediation contract, limited to typical and foreseeable damage. Friend-Park is not liable for force majeure. Otherwise, Friend-Park’s liability for its own breaches of duty in booking, data and payment processing is governed by the statutory provisions.
§ 13 Loyalty Programme (Coins)
Friend-Park offers registered users a loyalty programme. For every €1 of booking value, 1 coin is credited. Each coin is worth €0.01 and can be redeemed on future bookings up to a maximum of 10% of the booking amount. New registrations receive 100 welcome coins. Coins have no cash value and are not transferable. Friend-Park may change or discontinue the loyalty programme for the future; coins already credited are retained. A discontinuation will be announced in good time, and existing coins can still be redeemed for a reasonable period afterwards.
§ 14 Data Protection
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
§ 15 Changes to T&C
Friend-Park may amend these terms with effect for the future. Bookings already concluded remain subject to the version incorporated when they were concluded; coins already credited are retained. Registered users are informed of material changes by email. The current version is always available on our website.
§ 16 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
German law applies, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If the customer is a consumer, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive the customer of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the state of their habitual residence. If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, has no general place of jurisdiction in Germany, or relocates their domicile or habitual residence abroad after conclusion of the contract, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions is Ratingen. Statutory exclusive places of jurisdiction remain unaffected. For consumers domiciled or habitually resident in Germany, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.
§ 17 Consumer Dispute Resolution
The European Commission discontinued the Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR platform) as of 20 July 2025; complaints can no longer be filed via this platform. Friend-Park is not willing or obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board within the meaning of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG). Consumers can contact Friend-Park directly at any time with questions or complaints; the contact details can be found in the legal notice.
§ 18 Severability Clause
Should any provision of these terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the statutory provisions.
§ 19 Customer reviews
Customers with a completed booking may review the respective parking provider via the provider info page. Only truthful statements about the service you actually used are permitted. In particular, offensive, discriminatory, untrue or unlawful content, advertising, personal data of third parties and reviews without your own booking reference are not permitted. One review is possible per booking. Friend-Park verifies the entitlement (booking number and booking e-mail address) automatically and reserves the right not to publish or to subsequently remove reviews that breach these rules. There is no obligation to publish. Registered customers may receive bonus coins for a review; the credit is granted regardless of the star rating and content of the review. A review is not withheld because it is negative.
